Managing Challenging Student Behaviors
Modern classrooms present teachers with unique behavioral challenges that require thoughtful and innovative approaches. This course empowers educators to identify and analyze behavior issues within their own classrooms, conduct research on effective interventions, and create customized plans to address these challenges. In this course educators will investigate the “what” and the “why” of 21st century classroom management, explore common challenges in leading students and identify the most salient concerns in their own classrooms, use advanced research techniques to find texts that address their specific classroom concerns, and create a detailed plan that addresses the classroom management issue they selected.
Successful Completion of this course will result in 3 Recertification Credits from BOCES Colorado.
