Project-Based Learning: Solving Real-World Problems in the Classroom - Graduate Course
Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a transformative teaching method in which students collaborate to solve a real-world problem. Teachers often use this approach to enhance engagement, build critical thinking skills, and guide students to become independent learners. This course will support educators who wish to learn more about PBL by challenging them to do the following:
Learn the fundamental principles of PBL as it applies to the K-12 classroom environment
Explore contemporary ideas and sample projects
Design a PBL learning experience and rubric for students using the “Seven Essential Steps” framework
Successful Completion of this course will result in 3 Graduate Credits from CSU Pueblo.
