Supporting Student Wellness: Special Education and Behavioral Health Training for Teachers
Successful Completion of this course will result in 3 Graduate Credits from CSU Pueblo.
This online course is designed to meet essential training needs of all educators, covering crucial topics in special education and behavioral health. As part of the course, participants will gain knowledge and skills related to mental health, child traumatic stress, suicide prevention, inclusive learning environments, and laws regarding access to special education such as Child Find. Additionally, the content of this course may be used to meet Colorado Department of Education’s Special Education and Behavioral Health Licensure Renewal Requirements set by the Colorado House Bills HB 20-1128 and HB 20-1312 for professional license renewal. This is a requirement for all Colorado educators starting June 30, 2025.
