AI in the Classroom: Instruction in the Age of ChatGPT - Graduate Course

$380.00

Since ChatGPT was released, educators have reported mixed reactions ranging from fear to frustration to excitement.  All of these reactions are valid.  Afterall, it’s not everyday that a tool is introduced with the potential to dramatically change education.   However, since surveys show that nearly half of college students have already used ChatGPT,  21st century educators must face this new tool.  To meet this challenge, educators in this course will do the following:

  1. Utilize ChatGPT and analyze its output.

  2. Explore ways to “play defense” against ChatGPT to protect academic integrity

  3. Explore ways to “play offense” with ChatGPT to incorporate it effectively and responsibility into the classroom

  4. Create an AI Policy or Project for your class/school

Successful Completion of this course will result in 3 Graduate Credits from CSU Pueblo.

You will receive an email with access to course materials after your register.
